The King of Fighters: Tactics

The King of Fighters: Tactics is a turn-based tactical role-playing game where you play as a team of fighters such as Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui, and Goro Daimon, among many others. As is usual in this type of game, you can gradually unlock new characters with a classic gacha system.

The King of Fighters: Tactics combat system is very similar to other turn-based fighting games like Final Fantasy Tactics or even XCOM. During your turn, you can move your characters and carry out attacks with each of them. Once you're done, then your enemy will have a chance to attack.

Story mode takes you through a series of relatively short fights, each one lasting only a minute or two. The first great enemy you'll have to face is the legendary Rugal Bernstein, helped by Mature. Once you defeat them, the story continues, each time leading you to fights against increasingly powerful enemies. Of course, each enemy is helped by an army of soldiers you'll also have to defeat.

The King of Fighters: Tactics is a great tactical RPG which successfully translates the essence of the saga into a totally different genre. It also has absolutely amazing graphics that really shine during special attacks and interactive scenes in story mode.
